About
Made for learning in English, passing in Danish.
Medborgerskabsprøven, the Active Citizenship Test, is one of the requirements for permanent residence in Denmark. It’s not to be confused with Indfødsretsprøven, the test for Danish citizenship. This kit was created by a student who passed the June 2026 exam while at level 3 of Danskuddannelse.
This is for you if…
Your Danish is not super strong and you want to truly understand it in English.
You can get through the Danish text, slowly. The English beside it means you actually understand word by word what you read, and remember it.
You want the official content, not a summary
Every paragraph of SIRI’s learning material is here, in order, in both languages. And the quizzes are built from the past exams shared by SIRI.
You like to take your own notes when you study
Nothing like a simple Google Doc you can highlight and add your own notes to. Nothing fancy or too techy.
You’re a visual learner
It’s a lot of new information, we get it. Diagrams, timelines and tables help you lock in what you read.

The Workbook
All 26 fact sheets from SIRI’s learning material, paragraph by paragraph. Every Danish paragraph comes with a faithful English translation, and the key terms are glossed in both. Download it as a Google doc you can highlight and annotate, in the version that suits you: Dansk + English, or English only.

FAQ
Common questions
Is this SIRI’s material?
The Danish text is SIRI’s Læremateriale til medborgerskabsprøven (Aug 2026 edition), reproduced paragraph by paragraph with our own English translation and notes. The exam questions are SIRI’s published past exams with their official answer keys. We are not SIRI and not affiliated with them.
Is it the same test as Indfødsretsprøven?
No. Medborgerskabsprøven is one of the supplementary conditions for permanent residence. Indfødsretsprøven (the citizenship test) is a different, harder exam.
What is the pass mark?
20 of 25 questions correct, within 30 minutes. The simulator uses exactly those rules.
How do I log in after paying?
Checkout asks for your email. Right after payment you get a login link by email — no password to remember.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Everything works in the browser on phone, tablet and computer.
Is the Danish mandatory?
No. Switch to English only with one tap and the Danish layer disappears everywhere.
Can I get a refund?
Because access to digital content starts immediately, the 14-day right of withdrawal lapses once you start using it. If something doesn’t work, write to us and we’ll fix it or refund you.
Does the price include VAT?
Yes, 25 % Danish VAT is included. You receive a receipt from Stripe by email.
